Arthur Harvey
Chairman
Arthur Harvey has served for 14 years as Chairman and CEO of Neu Berma, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager founded in 1939. The firm manages $443 billion of equities, fixed income, private equity and hedge fund portfolios for global institutions, advisors and individuals ,with offices in 26 countries. In 2021, UNPRI named the firm a Leader, a designation awarded to fewer than 1% of investment firms for excellence in ESG practices. Previously, Arthur spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs where he was a member of the firm’s Partnership Committee. Arthur’s current board service includes the Partnership for New York City (Vice Chair) and the Trinity School. Arthur earned a BA, BS and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Angela Madison
Director, Investment and Management
Angela K. Madison is the President & Chief Executive Officer of State Street Global. Angela was named one of the 100 Most Influential Women in US
Finance by Barron’s in both 2013 and 2014 and was named among the 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance by an American Banker in 2021, the fifth consecutive year she has received this award. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Northham University, the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the Investment Company Institute, and the Board of Directors of the Turtle Beach Corporation. Angela earned her MBA from Harvard University and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
Louis Brighton
Director, Strategic Planning and Development
Louis Brighton is Chief Economist at the Investment Company Institute. He oversees the ‘institute’s statistical collections and its research on UK and global funds, financial markets, the UK retirement market, and investor demographics. His research and analysis focus on the flows, assets, fees, and industrial organization of registered investment companies; financial market issues; the costs and benefits of laws and regulations governing funds; money market funds; and financial stability. He has held several roles at ICI, most recently as senior director of industry and financial analysis.
William Norman
Director, Asset Management
William Norman is the company’s director for asset management.
As a financial manager, he manages various Institute’s administrative functions, coordinates the committees of the Board of Governors, and serves as Treasurer of ICI PAC. He was Co-Head of the Institute’s Government Affairs department, representing the association on Capitol Hill and before several Administrations. William joined ICI after serving on the staff of the UK House of Reps, Committee on Financial Services and in the office of Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney. Prior to the Hill, he was a staff member at Federal Financial Analytics, a Washington consultancy. He holds a BA in history from UCLA, a JD from the American University’s Washington College of Law, and an MBA from the University of Portsmouth.
Catherine Pwajok
Secretary and Legal Officer
Catherine Pwajok served in the Division of Investment Management at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). At the SEC, Catherine worked in the international branch of the division’s Office of the Chief Counsel, where she resolved legal issues arising under the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act, and guided trade negotiations. She also participated as an SEC representative on the International Organization of Securities Commission (IOSCO) Standing Committee 5, focusing on the regulation of mutual funds and other collective investment vehicles.
